Pain Nurses Australia, a not for profit organisation, was established October 22, 2021.
For the past 30 years the Pain Interest Group Nursing Issues (PIGNI - NSW) had been providing educational meetings and support to nurses caring for patients experiencing pain.
In October 2021 PIGNI was reformed to Pain Nurses Australia (PNA), which is a National Pain Interest Group
OUR MISSION
To advance and promote best practice in the provision of pain management for individuals experiencing pain by providing education to nurses
and allied health professionals who have a particular interest in pain and its management
